Viet leader for visit

VIETNAM'S First Deputy Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet will lead a 10-member delegation on a five-day visit to Malaysia on Wednesday. The visit, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Ghafar Baba, is Mr Vo's first to Malaysia, a Wisma Putra statement said yesterday. His delegation includes the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the first vice-chairman of the State Planning Committee and the assistant minister for foreign affairs. Mr Vo will attend the two-day Development Strategy Symposium organised by the World Bank in Kuala Lumpur on Monday prior to the official visit.
