Assurance on inquiry

JUSTICE Minister Syed Hamid Albar gave an assurance yesterday that the Government will bring to book those responsible for the fire at the Bright Sparklers fire works factory in Sungai Buloh on May 7. He said the people need not worry about the setting up of the Royal Commission of Inquiry to probe the fire because the Government is sincere in looking after their interests. Opposition parties should not seize this opportunity to increase their influence, he told reporters after opening a five-day motivation course in Johor Baru for secondary schools in Johor Baru district. - Bernama
