No records in Fire Dept

THE Bright Sparklers fireworks factory in Sungai Buloh did not exist in Fire Services Department records although it had been in operation for 15 years. Director General Datuk Badaruddin Mat Isa said the factory management had informed the department that a store was built there to keep explosive materials. "The temporary store was built in 1976 for use by the company which produces firecrackers and fireworks," he said in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
