Sg Buloh fire suits

TWELVE lawyers plan to file suits on behalf of the Sungai Buloh fire victims against Bright Sparklers, the Government and other departments and authorities responsible for the tragedy, Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) said yesterday. PRM president Dr Syed Husin Ali said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur that the first selected cases will be filed in the next 15 days and other suits will follow. He said the lawyers, from all over the country and calling themselves "Advocates for Public Interest" (API), had volunteered to legally represent the victims.
