`Razed factory insured $1.5m'

BRIGHT Sparklers, the fireworks factory in Sungei Buloh razed in Tuesday's tragedy, is believed to have been insured against fire for about $1.5 million. Business Times understands that the principal insurer is East-West UMI Insurance, a member of the Sime Darby Group.
