Missing autistic boy found safe in Tuaran

TUARAN: An autistic boy who went missing on Friday has been found 2km away from his home in Taman D’sri Gayang. The 8-year-old was found at 9.43pm by the rescue team and members of the public. His family realised he was missing at 5pm and alerted the authorities. District Fire and Rescue Department chief Abdul Qawie Abdul Gapar said the boy was found at a bush near the Gayang Seafood Restaurant. “The victim is safe. He is only tired.” He said the boy was barefoot when found and was taken to Tuaran Hospital.
