290kg man trapped in flood rescued

SEREMBAN: Firefighters rescued a man weighing 290kg after his home in Kampung Singh here was flooded up to 0.5m on Friday. Seremban Fire and Rescue Station head Deputy Fire Superintendent Mohammad Idris said: “We received a call about the flood in Jalan Tok Ungku at 10.22pm. A team from the Seremban station, with help from the Ampangan station, was rushed to the location.” He said firefighters placed a life jacket on the man and carried him out. The flood affected 330 people from 120 families in the district.
