Senior citizen among 45 held in PD drug den raid

PORT DICKSON: A 70-year-old man was among 45 people nabbed by police during a raid at a drug den in an oil palm plantation in Pasir Panjang on Monday. The Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division of the Port Dickson District Headquarters carried out the raid. Police Chief Superintendent Aidi Sham Mohamed said the men, aged between 21 and 70, were detained during Op Sarang. The operation between 8am and 12.30pm on Monday was conducted based on public-tip-offs. “The suspects tried to flee, but failed as they were surrounded by 15 police officers,” During the raid, police seized several drugs, including heroin and syabu.
