Sungai Petani Clock Tower - Kedah

THE Sungai Petani Clock Tower, built in 1936, was a gift by Lim Lean Teng to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary in London. However, it was later converted to a memorial to King George V (1910-1936) as he died before the tower was completed.
