At home... Dewan Rakyat unanimously condemns attack on Iraq The Dewan Rakyat, led by Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad, unanimously passed a motion on Monday condemning the unilateral military action by the United States and its allies against Iraq. The Prime Minister, in tabling the motion, had proposed seven resolutions, including condemning the attack on Iraq and demanding an immediate end to the conflict. Taking the cue from Dr Mahathir, who called on Malaysians to unite in protesting the senseless war, Members of Parliament, including those from Opposition parties, threw their support behind the motion.
