Nine injured in crash involving two cars

KEPALA BATAS: Nine people, including a toddler, were injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Jalan Permatang Tiga here, on Sunday. The accident occurred at 11.15pm when the driver of an Isuzu D’Max, en route from Kepala Batas to Sungai Lokan, lost control of the vehicle, veering into the opposite lane and crashing into a Perodua Alza. The victims in the Perodua Alza were identified as driver Ahmad Sukri Ishak, 40, and his family members, Noor Hidayah Abdul Halim, 37; Nur Hannan Ahmad Sukri, 10; Nur Nuha Ahmad Sukri, 8; Nur Nuha Ahmad Sukri, 2, Sariah Saad, 70; Nor Amila Abdul Halim, 29; and Afifah Inshirah Mohd Asri, 9.
