Art body promotes blood donation through T-shirts

KOTA KINABALU: A group of like-minded people is teaming up with Likas Women and Children’s hospital here in encouraging the public to donate blood. Pangrok Sulap association chairman Rizo Leong said it was giving away its artworks printed on T-shirts with the hope that patients could be saved through blood donated by the public. “As a collective art body comprising artists and artistes, musicians and social activists, we want to help as a community in humanitarian awareness. For example, there is a message ‘kita sedarah kongsi udara’ (We are one blood sharing the same air) on the T-shirt, which means that the people of Sabah are united.” He said it was looking forward to collaborating…
