Resign over PSS issue, deputy home minister told

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has called on Deputy Home Minister Datuk Azis Jamman to resign for allegedly forcing people in Sabah to accept the Sabah Temporary Pass (PSS). PBS Youth chief Christopher Mandut said Azis, who is Parti Warisan Sabah’s (Warisan) Wira chief, had been vocal on PSS, especially during the Kimanis by-election campaign between Jan 4 and 17. He said the proposed PSS for illegal immigrants in Sabah was not only destructive, but was also a threat to the state and country’s sovereignty. “The Barisan Nasional’s victory in Kimanis has sent a strong signal to the government that the people of Sabah reject the PSS.”
