3 pupils win top prize in Jakarta inventors awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Three pupils from SJK(T) Kinrara near here made Malaysia proud when they won gold at the International Exhibition for Young Creators in Jakarta, Indonesia, recently. The home auto compost system created byK. Naveeshern, 12, S.K. Verhenyashri, 10, and K. Divyasree, 11, beat contestants from 11 other countries. The home auto compost system works by disposing of waste from homes through a pipeline and burying it in the ground before it is turned into compost after at least two weeks. A total of 120 projects were submitted in the competition held from Oct 23 to Oct 26.
