110 stray dogs caught in Port Dickson’s 10-day op
PORT DICKSON: A total of 110 stray dogs were captured by the Port Dickson Municipal Council (MPPD) during a 10-day operation in the district that ended on Thursday. MPPD president Mohd Zamri Mohd Esa said the operation was launched following complaints on the growing number of stray dogs. “We received 217 complaints. We have to take immediate action to ensure the safety of the community.” He said such operations would be carried out regularly to reduce the number of stray dogs, especially in residential areas. “The public can lodge complaints with MPPD if they see stray dogs in their area.”
