Traffic cop killed in mbike crash on the way to work

JITRA: A traffic policeman was killed after his motorcycle skidded and crashed into an electric pole here yesterday. Kubang Pasu police chief Superintendent Mohd Ismail Ibrahim said the incident happened at 2am when Constable Adam Che Aziz, 25, was on his way from Hosba to Kampung Darat to report for duty for Op Samseng Jalanan. “The victim, who was attached to the Kubang Pasu police headquarters, died at the scene. His body was sent to the Jitra Hospital Forensic Unit for a post-mortem. It will be taken to his hometown in Machang, Kelantan, for burial,” he said yesterday. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
