The Malayan Tigers are mostly found in the forests of Pahang, Perak, Kelantan and Terengganu (Belum-Temengor Forest Complex, Taman Negara and the Endau-Rompin Forest Complex). The Malayan tiger, a symbol of Malaysian pride and the subject of countless fables and legends, has for decades been at risk of being wiped out.
