KUB in talks for major stake sale

KUALA LUMPUR: Information and communication technology firm KUB Malaysia Bhd said several parties have expressed interest to buy the stake held by its controlling shareholder Anchorscape Sdn Bhd. This is on the back of its sudden share price spike of 68 per cent this week. It said discussions with the parties are still preliminary at this juncture. Anchorscape holds the lion's share of KUB at 52.17 per cent, which translates to RM114.6 million, while its market capitalisation is at RM219.8 million.
