Thousands turn up to bid farewell

PUTRAJAYA, Fri. - Braving humid conditions, thousands thronged the Prime Minister's Department here today to bid a fond farewell to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and an enthusiastic welcome to his successor Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, with many saying they had "mixed feelings" about this "historic day".
