Checking number of workers

POLICE are continuing investigations on the number of workers trapped when the Bright Sparklers Sdn Bhd fireworks factory in Sungai Buloh was razed on Tuesday. CID director Datuk Zaman Khan said yesterday there were conflicting accounts of the exact number of workers inside the building during the incident. He said one worker told police there were about 160 people at the factory. "We are now trying to narrow down on the number of people missing by taking into account, the number of the injured, the dead and missing," he said.
