46 houses destroyed in blasts

FORTY-SIX houses were destroyed and 149 others damaged due to the impact of the explosions at the Bright Sparklers fireworks factory. Of those destroyed, 28 were occupied by their owners and another 18 by tenants. About 260 people lost their homes when these houses were destroyed. Of the damaged houses, 120 houses were occupied by their owners and their families. Another 29 houses which were rented out also suffered various damages.
